Rev. CARL WILLIAM “Fr. BILL”

Age 74, of Sewickley, passed suddenly on Sunday, February 17, 2013.  He was pastor of Christ Hope Ecumenical Church in Brighton Heights.

Fr. Bill also served as a priest for the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese for forty years during which time he was pastor at the former St. Joseph Parish in Mt. Oliver and also pastor of St. Victor’s Parish in Bairdford.   He was beloved by his family, friends, and parishioners.  Son of late parents Carl and Eileen Hausen, he is survived by sisters Jeanne Worgo, Mary Carol Blewitt, and Janet Feldmeier and brother-laws Ronald Worgo, Bob Blewitt, and Curtis Feldmeier.  Also survived by nieces and nephews Kim, Kelly, Michelle and Scott of Atlanta, Luke, Christine, Rebecca, and Thomas of Brighton Township, James and Jennifer of Penn Hills, his aunt Nancy Blundon, and cousins, Jill and Bill Blundon.

At Fr. Bill’s request, there will be no service or viewing.  All arrangements are private.
